Glass Beads Workshop

This beginner bead-making workshop covers the fundamentals of working with hot glass and how to create your own unique and colorful glass beads. 

The max capacity of this workshop is two, so expect an intimate, mindful and engaging workshop with plenty of time to experiment, learn and create. Under guidance from our experienced bead-maker, Tomas Byg Fabritius, we will cover different shaping technics, how to combine colors, layering the glass, and creating different surface patterns. 

Tomas’ field of expertise is beads inspired by historical findings from the Viking age and at the workshop, besides using a gas burner and modern safety equipment, you will try to make beads with historical tools. The beads you create can later be used for personalized jewelry, such as a necklace or bracelet. We will supply leather cords for this purpose.

All materials and safety eyewear are supplied, along with tea and coffee. 

The class will take place in our cozy studio located on the vibrant street Blågårdsgade in the heart of Nørrebro. 

The date of the class will be scheduled according to your preferences and the availability of the studio. Once you have made the purchase, the teacher will contact you to make further agreement.

The duration of the workshop is 2,5 hours.
