Refund
As all products are handmade, shape, size, and color may vary. Therefore, the product images are only indicative.

If the item unexpectedly does not live up to your expectations, we offer the option of returning the item, exchanging it for another product, or exchanging it for a gift card for later use. Otherwise, the right of withdrawal can be exercised.

Cancellation of a purchase
There is a 14-day full right of Cancellation of a purchase placed on the website unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order.
The 14-day period starts on the day the order is delivered.
You will bear any return costs yourself.

Requests for cancellation of a purchase must be notified to us no later than 14 days after delivery.

Requests for the use of the right of withdrawal must be sent by email to hello@lodewa.dk.

The condition of the item upon return
You are liable for the deterioration of the value of the item, which is due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the item's nature, properties, and function. This means that you must test and inspect the item in the same way as if you were shopping in a physical store.

If the item has been tested or used beyond what is described above, it is considered used and of impaired value. This means that if you cancel the purchase, you will receive a small part or none of the purchase amount back. It is up to Lodewa Ceramics to assess the condition of the product.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@lodewa.dk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
