Freestyle Ceramics – Your Ideas, Your Hands, Your Clay

Looking for a space where your own clay ideas can unfold at their own pace? Freestyle Ceramics is an open-format workshop where you set the direction — whether you’re exploring sculptural forms, functional pieces, or something in between.

With a small group, attentive guidance, and a well-stocked studio, there’s room to work freely while still having a gentle framework that supports your process.

How It Works:

Start with an idea — or let it emerge
Come with a clear plan or allow the clay to guide you. Both approaches are welcome.

Small group, hands-on guidance
Plenty of time for individual support, technique tips, and problem-solving along the way.

Time to build, adjust & refine
A calm structure helps keep things moving, while leaving space for experimentation and play.

Decoration with slips
Finish your piece using colored clay slips — paint, layer, carve, or draw into the surface while the clay is still alive. Slips allow for depth, texture, and expressive marks, making each piece distinctly your own.

This workshop is about creating on your own terms, within a supportive space where ideas flow and community naturally forms.
