Open Studio: Wednesday Evenings

Join us for open studio sessions every Wednesday Evening in our charming Nørrebro studio. Immerse yourself in a cozy and friendly atmosphere as you work on your personal ceramic project. Take a moment to slow down and unwind, accompanied by a cup of tea and soothing music. Our studio provides everything you need to bring your ceramic ideas to life, including clay, tools, glazes, snacks, drinks, and attentive supervision.

The workshop spans 3 hours, from 17:00 to 20:00. Should you decide to extend your ceramics journey and join us for multiple sessions, we're delighted to offer you a special price. Whether you come alone or bring a friend, everyone is welcome in our inclusive community at Lodewa. We look forward to hosting you.

Evening ceramics at our studio is the perfect blend of creative expression and cozy atmosphere. It's our answer to an Open Studio, where participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the creation of their very own ceramic artwork. Whether it's functional or purely decorative, the choice is entirely up to each individual participant. Only imagination sets limits.

We offer a wide selection of clay types and over 30 different glazes to choose from, allowing participants to find exactly what suits their creative vision. Our experienced facilitator is ready to guide participants through the process from start to finish. They will introduce various handbuilding techniques, so everyone feels well-equipped to get started. Afterwards, each participant has the opportunity to work independently on their piece while enjoying attentive supervision.

Once the artwork is finished, the participant can choose their desired glaze color, and we will then take care of firing and glazing the piece. Approximately 3 weeks later, the participant will be able to pick up their finished artwork from us. For those who are unable to pick up in person, we also offer shipping for a postage fee.

Our studio is a cozy and creative oasis where homely comfort meets artistic expression. The workshop is equipped with everything needed to create the perfect setting for a sublime ceramic experience.
