Take your wheel skills to the next level
Ready to deepen your wheel throwing skills? This one-to-one intermediate course is designed for those who are already comfortable centering and throwing basic shapes—and want to explore more advanced forms, refine their technique, and gain confidence at the wheel.
What to Expect
Over 3 private sessions of 2.5 hours each (7.5 hours total), you’ll work closely with an experienced instructor to challenge your current skill level and push your creative boundaries.
Session 1: Technical tune-up—refine your centering and throwing technique, and assess areas to strengthen.
Session 2: Explore more complex forms such as bowls, vases, closed forms, or sets. Focus on control, repetition, and precision.
Session 3: Trim, assemble, and refine your work—explore foot shaping, handles, lids, or other added details if desired.
You’ll be working with stoneware clay, and you’re welcome to keep up to 5 finished pieces, which will be glazed by your instructor using a glaze of your choice from the Lodewa glaze library.
The course is held in our cozy, well-equipped studio located on the creative and lively Blågårdsgade in Nørrebro.
